Join us for an afternoon of art and Zen in practice. Using ZCLA’s very own pine needles, we will learn the craft of pine needle basket weaving, bringing our zazen off the cushion and into the garden.
Followed by a sangha lunch.

CLASS INSTRUCTOR
Kathy Myoan Solomon was in her 20’s living in Big Sur, when she was introduced to the San Francisco Zen Center, Tassajara, and eventually Green Gulch. She spent time in all 3. She reconnected to Zen at Santa Monica Zen Center in about 1998. When towers went down, and SMZC fell apart, she discovered ZCLA and has been there ever since.
