CLASS INFO

Most human suffering can be attributed to the Three Poisons of Greed, Aversion and Delusion. We can’t address the larger world’s concerns without recognizing these negative states in our own habitual ways of thinking. These hindrances are not inherent traits but rather aspects of nature that ask to be seen and dissolved. When we see that the true nature of these destructive poisons is wisdom, we can transmute them into medicine.

In this four-class series, we will:

  • Investigate the qualities of the Three Poisons and their effects.
  • Identify which might be our own dominant Poison.
  • Learn about the antidotes to these afflicted states.
  • Learn specific skillful means to transform these unhelpful states of mind.
  • Offer support to each other in the mini-Sangha created by the participants.

The class is intentionally offered monthly so that students have time to examine the hindrances in themselves and apply the antidotes in their daily lives.

RECORDINGS OF THE CLASS WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE TO ALL REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS.

Members: $30/class; $100 if paid in full ($25/class)

Non-Members: $40/class; $140 if paid in full ($35/class)
