CLASS INFO
When Buddha awakened, he discovered Four Truths for Noble followers:
1) The Truth of Suffering
2) The Truth of the Cause of Suffering
3) The Truth that there can be Freedom from Suffering
4) And the Truth of the Eightfold Path that leads to that Liberation
These teachings of the Eightfold Path are timeless, philosophical yet practical ways of living that can lead one to a life full of compassion, virtue and awakening. They are: 1. Right View 2. Right Intention 3. Right Action 4. Right Speech 5. Right Livelihood 6. Right Effort 7. Right Mindfulness/Awareness 8. Right Concentration.
In this eight-month series, Sensei Senshin will lead a monthly Tuesday class on the Eightfold Path. Each class will focus on one aspect and participants will then be encouraged to apply that teaching to their lives for that month. In this way, students will integrate the principles of these teachings directly into their lives.
