Atonement Ceremony
Observed every six weeks, this ceremony includes the renewal of vows and precepts and bearing witness to one’s own conduct in the company of the Sangha. “At-one-ment” is an essential aspect of the Zen life.
The ceremony includes a period of zazen, chanting, bowing, and an opportunity to bear witness to our conduct in the presence of the Sangha. Those who have received the precepts are asked to attend this ceremony regularly. Open to everyone.
